The City is committed to providing all employees with the opportunity to work and contribute to their full potential.  This includes valuing and utilizing the unique perspectives, skills, and knowledge of our employees.

The City has an established policy and practice of providing equal employment opportunity.  As part of this practice, the City has had an Affirmative Action plan for the past thirty years.  This plan includes goals and objectives for the next two years.  Goals established in this plan are not quotas, but can be reasonably attained by applying every good faith effort in recruiting and retaining employees.
