Background
The Mesa City Council placed two (2) General
Obligation Bond questions on the November 4, 2008
General (presidential) Election ballot. Both
questions passed.
- One question seeking bond authorization to
purchase or construct 11 public safety projects for
the Mesa Police and Fire Departments at a cost of
$58.3 million.
- The second question seeking bond authorization
to construct 13 street projects at a cost of $110.9
million.
