On July 9, 2012, the Mesa City Council adopted Resolution 10104 calling a General Election for November 6, 2012. This resolution outlines the purpose of the election, designates the deadline for voter registration and establishes the times that polls will be open. At the General Election, the qualified electors of the City will be asked to vote on the following measures:

  • Question 1 - Parks, Open Space, Recreational and Aquatic Facility Bonds

  • Proposition 460 - Proposed Charter Amendment (Article II, Section 203 "Mayor and Vice Mayor")

  • Proposition 461 - Proposed Charter Amendment (Article VI, Section 605 "Capital Program")

  • Proposition 462 - Proposed Charter Amendment (Article VII, Section 701 "City Elections")

  • Proposition 463 - Proposed Charter Amendment (Article II, Section 201 "Term of          Councilmember" and "Term of Mayor")

  • Proposition 464 - Proposed Charter Amendment (Article II, Section 201 "Elections")
