Warrants
A warrant of
arrest can be
issued for
several reasons.
This can include
but is not
limited to
non-compliance
with a Court
order or failing
to appear in
Court as
directed. A
warrant for
non-compliance
may be issued if
fine payments,
jail time,
counseling or
treatment
sessions are not
completed as
ordered.
If a warrant has
been issued
because the fine
payments were
not made as
ordered, further
payment
arrangements may
be allowed. The
defendant may be
required to
appear before a
judge for
determination of
eligibility for
payments.
If the warrant
is not related
to fine payments
it is necessary
to appear in
Court before a
judge to resolve
these issues. No
appointment is
required.
Individuals with
outstanding
warrants must
check in by
taking a number
in Customer
Service where
Court staff will
provide
assistance.
