SurePay - Automatic Payment Plan

We make it easier for you to pay your City of Mesa Utility Bill!  Are you tired of writing checks, buying stamps and worrying if your utility payment will be late?  If so, sign up for our SurePay automatic payment program.

How it works

Your monthly City of Mesa utility payment will be deducted automatically from the bank account you designate approximately 2 days before your due date.  The date your payment will be withdrawn will appear on your utility bill.  The proof of payment appears on your account statement and your next billing statement.

3 ways to sign up:

  1. Fill out and submit the SurePay enrollment form online
  2. Call our office at 480-644-2221 or toll free at 1-866-406-9659 and speak to a representative

  3. Print out the SurePay enrollment form, complete it and mail it to our office with
    a voided check.

Other automatic payment methods

Log on to My Utility Account and sign up for Recurring Payments.  Automatic payments may be set up with either a bank draft or credit card.

PLEASE NOTE - Maximum Draft Amount:

If your maximum draft amount is not set high enough to cover the utility bill amount generated, the payment will not draft automatically, and will require the customer to make the actual payment on the account.  Additionally a message will appear on your bill stating “PLEASE PAY - amount is NOT being drafted.” If the bill is not paid, your services could be subject to disconnection.

If you receive text or email City of Mesa monthly billing notices, the following will also be included on your eBill notification:

email:    Please pay. Amount Due is over SurePay maximum amount. Please contact us to increase your maximum SurePay amount.
text:     Please pay, over SurePay maximum amount.
