joined the team as an Economic Development Specialist in April 2013. He will
support the team in promoting investment and business expansion throughout the
City of Mesa through targeted research strategies and the development of
business leads and partnerships. Prior to joining the Office of Economic
Development, J.D. spent three years as an Intern and Associate Analyst of Client
Strategy & Consulting for CBRE’s Labor Analytics Group (LAG), one of the top
site selection consulting groups in the country. While at LAG, he served as the
lead analyst on nationwide site selection projects for numerous Fortune 500 and
international clients. He was also responsible for research, content, testing
and development work on Global LaborView, a 2011 CoreNet Global Innovator's
Award winning web-based software application.
J.D. was born and raised
in Tempe, AZ and graduated from Arizona State University in May 2012 where he
received bachelor’s degrees in Marketing, Tourism, and German, as well as a
Certificate in International Business Studies.
