these symptoms and if you feel better when you go
outside your home and symptoms reappear once you're

Unlike carbon monoxide,
utility system natural gas has an odorant which
is added to it to provide a distinctive and
immediately recognizable smell. The odorant
provides a “rotten egg” smell to assist you in
detecting even the smallest of leaks. If you
have a diminished sense of smell, audible alarms
are available which sound in the event of that
natural gas is detected.
