Championships 5pm @ Kino
Last week we had a great week of swimming at the Divisional
meet. Nearly everyone had best times in their swims, from
dropping a few tenths ofseconds to dropping up to 20
seconds! This week we will be having our Championship meet
at Kino. Those who are swimming in this meet need to be at
Kino at 4pm
on Thursday at
Kino and the meet will start at 5pm.
If you are unable to swim at this meet please let one of the
coaches know as soon as possible. This will be the last
meet of the season so lets finish strong, swim fast, and
have fun! Attached to this newsletter is a list of skyline
swimmers who made it back to the Championship meet.
I want to thank you all for a great season and a great
summer. It was a great time coaching everyone, seeing them
swim faster, and develop into better and more confident
swimmers. If you have any questions or concerns please feel
free to talk with your coaches and they will be happy to

Stay focused. it is important to stay focused this last
week of practice. we will have some fun, but we need to
stay focused on our goals and what we need to do in order to
have a great last meet.
Stay relaxed. Saying relaxed can help you obtain your goals
times and keep things in prospective so you don't over think
your swims. This is our last meet so lets swim fast and
have a blast doing it.
For those who qualified, the championship meet will be Tuesday,
July 22nd at
Shepherd junior high.
* Top 8 from qualifiers automatically qualify while places 9 and
10 are alternates.
Times of arrival
8 and under 4:15
13 and up 7:00
10 and under - 1 required 2 optionals
11/12 - 1 required 3 optionals
13 and up - 2 required 3 optionals

This is our last week of synchro!!!
All the girls did a fantastic job at our
duet/trio championships last Friday. Our final
team championships will be held this
Kino pool. Girls in the 10 and under age group
need to be at Kino by 4
girls in the 11 and older age group need to be
at Kino by 6:30
The girls need to be knoxed and ready to go when
they arrive at Kino! Coach Jamie and Kaylee will
have all the team costumes so you don't need to
worry about that.
our last day of practice. Because the
championships is held Wednesday night
there will be no practice on Thursday
It has been an awesome summer at Skyline and
the girls have improved drastically since our
first day of practice! The coaches are very
proud of all of them and can't wait for Wednesday!
