May I have alcohol at the public park?
Possessing or consuming spirituous liquor, beer or wine is not allowed
in Mesa except: Beer & Wine permits are available for
Countryside, Dobson
Ranch, Escobedo, Evergreen, Fitch, Gene Autry, Jefferson, Kleinman, Red Mountain,
Park of the Canals, Pioneer, Quail Run, Reed, Riverview , Skyline and Falcon Field
parks. Obtain an alcohol permit
at least one business day in advance of use. Permits for Friday-Sunday must
be obtained in person at our office by the preceding Thursday. The permit
fee is $20 for residents and $24 for non-residents.

Where does Mesa Parks and Recreation Department
hold their programs?
The Parks and Recreation Department operate more than 58 parks, 9 pools,
2 golf courses, and 7 sports complexes/recreation centers. The
Parks and Facilities listing includes all
of these facilities with links to each, which include the amenities
available at each facility.
Additionally, Mesa Parks and Recreation Department partners with Mesa
Public Schools to offer after school and summer programming at Mesa Public
Schools.
Can I fish in the lake at the park near my
house?
Mesa Parks and Recreation has two urban fishing lakes at Riverview
Park and at Red Mountain Park. Both of these are stocked
