Civil Hearing Office

The Civil Hearing Office processes citations for violation(s) of the city's zoning and nuisance ordinances issued by Code Compliance Officers.  The office conducts civil hearings as requested by the recipient of a civil citation per request.

 

Procedures

Once a civil citation has been issued, the recipient of the citation has two choices:

  • Plead responsible, mail in fine/fee amount.
  • Plead not responsible, request a hearing.  Instructions for responding to the civil citation is printed on the reverse side of the citation form.
