City Prosecutor

The Mesa City Prosecutor's Office is responsible for prosecuting misdemeanor crimes and city code violations occurring within the Mesa city limits, filed in the Mesa Municipal Court.

Felony cases occurring within Mesa are prosecuted by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

Discovery Requests

Information and evidence that the State intends to use at trial (known as Discovery) may be available for inspection by defendants or their attorneys at the Office of the Mesa City Prosecutor.

If you are a defendant or a defendant’s attorney and wish to inspect or receive discovery, please send a written request (mail, email, or fax) to the contact information on this page. 

Include the name of the defendant, the email address or mailing address where discovery should be sent, and the court docket number and/or police report number. Allow up to 7-10 days to receive discovery items.
