Help the Police Department track gang activity in
Mesa by sending them photos
of graffiti in your neighborhood.
Graffiti is a problem in almost every community. This type of
vandalism can affect property values and make residents feel
unsafe. Until recently, the City of Mesa removed or painted over
graffiti throughout the City if it could be seen from the public
right-of-way.
Now, Graffiti Protective Coatings (GPC) has been contracted
by the City to take on the job of removing graffiti from walls,
utility boxes, signs and other fixtures. GPC provides timely
service and advanced color matching. They also proactively seek
to remove or cover graffiti before it is called in by a
resident.
The City of Mesa still has the equipment and staff to assist
in removing or covering graffiti if assistance is needed. These
staff members are also responsible for maintaining right-of-way
landscaping and storm drain system in Mesa.
