In partnership with First Things First, we opened the Mesa Family Resource Center in the Main Library in September of 2024. The Mesa Family Resource Center will be a community hub for families with children ages birth to five and will include a wide range of free parenting activities, referrals to support and resources geared towards supporting a child’s optimal health and development, and community resources.

Who can use or go to the Mesa Family Resource Center?
Anyone who is looking for resources is welcome to visit the Mesa Family Resource Center. Activities and classes are designed for caregivers and families of children aged birth to five. You do not have to be a Mesa resident to use our services.  

How do I sign-up for child and parent learning activities?
Families with children aged birth to five can sign up on-site at the Family Resource to participate in activities.  

Do the events or services cost anything?
All services and events are FREE!  

Can I come to the Mesa Family Resource Center when there is not a scheduled event or class?
Yes! Visitors and families are welcome at the Center during regularly scheduled operating hours.
