MFMD Community Outreach Programs ❤

These programs directly support Mesa families and individuals in need. Donations help us to purchase equipment and supplies allowing us to expand our impact and help more people. Program recipients are often identified by our own fire crews and community outreach team members. By proactively addressing specific needs in the community, we can help to reduce emergency calls later. Some of our efforts include:

  • Installing smoke alarms and grab bars.
  • Participating in safety fairs, community events, and neighborhood safety walks.
  • Providing emergency support to residents displaced by fire or other events.
  • Supporting the City’s annual hydration drives to provide supplies of water to people in need .
  • Supporting Mesa Public Schools and local charities during holiday season by collecting toys and non-perishable food for local families in need.

Monetary donations can be made to: Mesa Fire & Medical Department (Memo: MFMD Community Outreach Programs) 13 W. First St., Mesa, AZ 85201

Gift cards to local retailers, grocery stores, home improvement stores, or others are welcome and used to support purchases for these programs.

Item donations of new, or like-new, unwrapped toys or non-perishable food may be dropped off at Fire Administration, 13 W. 1st St., Mesa, AZ 85201 (M-TH, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm) or delivered to your nearest fire station at the visitor entrance. If crews are out on calls, you may need to leave the donation at the door or return later when crews have returned.
