Utility Bill Payment Extension
Payment Arrangements
If you need a little more time to pay your utility bill, we’re here to help you get back on track. Eligible residential customers can participate in the Mesa utility payment arrangement program to equally distribute outstanding balances due over a set period of time.
Payment Arrangement 101
What is a payment arrangement?
A payment arrangement divides the past-due bill amount into equal payments over a set period of time, giving residential utility customers the opportunity to catch up on their utility bill. Customers will be responsible for covering the payment arrangement amount each month, in addition to current utility bill charges, by the due date.
Am I eligible to make a payment arrangement?
Customers with an outstanding utility bill balance can qualify to make a payment arrangement. However, the following may impact eligibility:
- Four payment arrangements in a 12-month period.
- Two or more broken payment arrangements in a 12-month period.
- Current enrollment in Budget Billing.
- The customer is receiving a final Mesa utility bill.
- The last bill payment was returned from the customer’s financial institution.
