About Us

The Mesa Fire and Medical Department (MFMD) serves a population of more than a half-million residents over an area of 138 square miles. Our all-hazards response model allows us to provide the highest level of emergency medical care, fire suppression, rescue, and emergency transportation services to our community. Additionally, our fire prevention programs support community safety and risk reduction through inspection and education programs helping to prevent fires and other dangers before they occur.
