In 2024, the National Purchasing Institute honored Mesa's Procurement Services with the "Achievement of Excellence in Procurement" award for the twentieth consecutive year. This prestigious award recognizes organizational excellence in public procurement and is awarded to those organizations that meet criteria designed to measure innovation, professionalism, e-procurement, productivity and leadership.  

In 2016, 2019, and 2022, Mesa was awarded the NIGP’s Accreditation for Quality Public Procurement Departments (formerly known as the Outstanding Agency Accreditation Achievement Award (OA4)) by NIGP: The Institute for Public Procurement. The QPPD recognizes agencies that lead the public procurement profession through the implementation of best practices. Agencies that earn this designation are accredited for three years.
