Mesa residents are invited to participate in the government process. One of the most effective ways to provide input is through service on one of the citizen advisory boards and committees. Through this service, civic-minded citizens become involved in their local government and make recommendations to the Mesa City Council. We, in turn, benefit from the knowledge, experience and expertise of our citizens.
City boards and committees are listed below; visit their pages to learn more about the purpose and requirements for each board, and to see the current list of members and term end dates.
If you are interested in serving on a City board or committee, please visit the Advisory Board & Committees Application Center. There you will begin by creating a customer profile with a login and password once before applying.
Appointments to the boards are recommended by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. With your customer login, you will have instant access to review the status of your pending application(s), review current board openings, or browse the frequently asked questions (FAQs).
Thank you for your interest in helping to make Mesa an even better place to live, work and play.
