The vision of the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) is to meet the evolving needs of its residents and communities and achieve Mesa's long-term environmental impact objectives through strategic investment in technology and the implementation of innovative capabilities.
DoIT is a group of 150+ interns, technicians, analysts, engineers, architects, project managers, and IT managers, led by an experienced and dedicated leadership, who work as a cohesive team to support Mesa’s technology needs.
DoIT functions as a true business partner to the organization to identify technological solutions that will solve business problems and bring efficiency to the organization. Our vision is in alignment with the City Council's Strategic Priorities to deliver innovative services and inclusive solutions for our residents, visitors, and businesses, large and small, through focusing on community safety, placemaking, transforming neighborhoods, sustainable economy, and a healthy environment.
