The annual East Valley Veterans Parade returns to its traditional format in downtown Mesa. The parade provides an opportunity for the community to gather in honoring, thanking and celebrating local veterans, active military, and their families.
More than 100 parade entries are anticipated, along with aerial demonstrations of vintage aircraft. The parade route begins at Center Street and University Drive, proceeds south on Center Street and west on 1st Street to Robson Street.
This year's parade theme is "Wartime Art & Artists" celebrating the many forms of military art used through the years. For more information, visit evvp.org.
