The Commemorative Air Force Museum will perform its annual warbird fly-over around the Phoenix metropolitan area to honor those who serve and commemorate the lives of those lost 80 years ago in the Pearl Harbor attack that launched the United States into World War II.
Flight line preparations will begin at approximately 10 a.m. for the B-17 Flying Fortress and the C-47 'Old Number 30'. The aircraft can be viewed from the museum parking lots (the museum is closed on Tuesdays). They will take to the air and fly over the Arizona State Capitol at approximately 11 a.m. The next flyover point will be the National Cemetery in Cave Creek, and then the USS Arizona Memorial Gardens at Salt River.
