The Hometown Heroes Banner Program recognizes and honors Mesa residents and their family members who are serving or are veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. Each of the 49 banners along Main Street will honor a specific Mesa service person and will include their name, branch of service and photo, if provided. Vice Mayor Jenn Duff will speak at a brief program honoring the recipients and their families. The banners will be displayed during the Memorial Day holiday through June 5.
