A dedication ribbon cutting of the newly renovated Falcon Field Airport Aircraft Viewing Park will take place at the Aircraft Viewing Park and Airport Terminal Building. Mayor John Giles, Councilmember David Luna and Falcon Field Airport Director Corinne Nystrom will be among the participants. Following the ceremony, light refreshments will be served.

8:50 a.m. Fly-Over by Vintage T-6 Texan Aircraft (Wings of Flight Foundation)
8:50-9:00 a.m. Participants & Guests Walk to Terminal Building
9-10 a.m. Celebration Breakfast/Brunch (Airport Terminal Building lobby and/or patio)
Following the ceremony, guests can enjoy aircraft viewing binoculars & static aircraft displays of two T-6 Texan aircraft by Wings of Flight Foundation and a Boeing Stearman bi-plane by Jacob Thompson.
The Aircraft Viewing Park is designed to be an inviting recreational amenity where Mesa residents and families can enjoy watching aircraft activity and learn about aviation! In addition to existing binoculars and historic photographic murals, park improvements include:
• A clear plexiglass view fence facing out to the airfield
• Benches for seating in front of the view fence, as well as picnic tables and chairs
• Colorful canvas shade sails
• Two airplane-shaped seats for children
• New grass turf area
