Enjoy a weekend learning adventure! Museum Day is Sept. 17 and the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Airbase Arizona Flying Museum is participating from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The museum is located at 2017 N. Greenfield Road at Falcon Field Airport.
Hosted by Smithsonian Magazine, Museum Day is a one-day national event during which participating museums, zoos, and cultural institutions across the United States provide FREE entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket.

Also on Sept 17, docent JK Wight will present a special program "The Battle of Britain" at 1 p.m.. He will give insights into the German Luftwaffe's goal of air supremacy over the Royal Air Force in preparation for the invasion of Great Britain during World War II.
