Don't miss the exciting return of Family Fun Day at Mesa's Commemorative Air Force Museum from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14! There will be fun and educational experiences for all ages!

Adventures & activities will include:
* Interactive engine displays - see and operate specialized hands-on displays (some full scale) that show how wings lift airplanes and engines power them
* Aviation technology challenge - hand-on activities for kids up to age 12 offered 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
* Kids adventures hunt (ages 6-12)
* Hidden history tour (all ages)
* 60,000 square feet of unique war planes and exhibits commemorating vital events and people in history
At 11 a.m. don't miss the grand opening ceremony for the new AH-1F Cobra Sand Shark helicopter exhibit to honor those who served in the Desert Storm/Gulf War. The acquisition and restoration work on the aircraft was performed by volunteers in the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation. The helicopter is loaned to the museum as part of its 100 Year of Military History exhibit.
At 1 p.m. museum docent JK Wight will give a special presentation "303 Squadron: The Untold Story of the Battle of Britain." Learn about one of the most successful Polish squadrons that helped with the battle but "lost the war."
