Downtown Historic Preservation Day

As part of National Historic Preservation Month, the City of Mesa Historic Preservation Office is hosting Downtown Historic Preservation Day. It begins at the Nile Theater with a reception with the Mesa Historic Preservation Board and student winners of the Historical Essay and Visual Arts Contest. After a brief talk about the Nile's restoration, the historic preservation celebration continues with a guided walking tour of downtown Mesa, including a scavenger hunt. The event ends at the Nile where the scavenger hunt answers can be turned in for prizes.
