Cockpit Close-Up is a FREE event to be held 8-10 a.m. the first Saturday of each month. The next event will be held Saturday, May 4 at the airport terminal building, 4800 E. Falcon Drive.

The event features volunteer pilots based at Falcon Field and their private aircraft. On May 4 the featured pilot will be Dave with his 2001 Robinson Helicopter. Get a close-up look and talk to the pilot about the aircraft, flight training, flight knowledge & experiences, aviation careers, etc. Questions are welcome! It's a great opportunity for those who are considering flight training or a career in aviation!

***Just added to Cockpit Close-Up a 1980 Albatros L-39C! Come out to the Airport for an up close look and aviation conversation with the pilot Bill Mugde! Bill is an independent filmmaker and one of three founding partners of Recombinant Films, LLC based in Berkeley, California, but a current Northeast Mesa resident!
