Helicopter Rides at Falcon Field Airport!

The Army Aviation Heritage Foundation (AAHF) will offer rides for sale in their U.S. Army AH-1F Cobra and UH-1H Iroquois helicopters at Falcon Field Airport.

Date: Saturday, October 19
Time: 8 a.m.- 10 a.m.
Place: Check in at the Falcon Field Airport Terminal Building, 4800 E. Falcon Drive, Mesa, AZ 85215

These aircraft are part of the U.S. Army's history from the Vietnam War and are still serving militaries throughout the world. The AH-1F was the first helicopter built specifically as an attack helicopter during the Vietnam War. The UH-1H, also known as a "Huey," served as the primary workhorse helicopter during the Vietnam War, where it was used in combat as well as medical, VIP and search and rescue missions.

All pilots and crew for the rides are U.S. Army veterans, and many served during the Vietnam War and other conflicts. This is an opportunity to fly with veterans and ask questions of those who flew these helicopters in combat.

Questions: Call AAHF Operations at (480) 217-1635 or check out their flyer.
