Mesa residents are invited to participate in the process of City of Mesa government. One of the most effective ways to provide input is through service on one of the City's citizen advisory boards and committees. Through this service, civic-minded citizens become involved in their local government and make recommendations to the Mesa City Council. The City, in turn, benefits from the knowledge, experience and expertise of citizens.
You may click on any of the City boards and committees listed below to learn more about the purpose and requirements for each board, and to see the current list of members and term end dates.
If you are interested in serving on a City board or committee, please visit the Advisory Board & Committees Application Center. There you will begin by creating a customer profile with a login and password once before applying. A list of board vacancies can be found below.
Appointments to the boards are recommended by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. With your customer login, you will have instant access to review the status of your pending application(s), review current board openings, or browse the frequently asked questions (FAQs).
Should you have any issues with access to this information, or have any questions, please feel free to contact the City Clerk’s Office at 480-644-2099 or send an e-mail to clerk.info@mesaaz.gov. Thank you for your interest in helping to make Mesa an even better place to live, work and play.
