Members of the Human Relations Advisory Board will appear in-person or telephonically for meetings.

The public is welcome and encouraged to speak at monthly meetings on either an item on the agenda or to comment on an issue that is not specifically on the agenda under the agenda item titled “Items from Citizens Present.” Speakers will generally be given three minutes to speak on a matter.

Members of the public can address the Human Relations Advisory Board in the following ways:

  • Attend a meeting in person. Participants may complete a blue comment upon arrival at the meeting.
  • Submit an online comment card at least 1 hour prior to the start of the meeting. You will be given the option to telephonically comment, have your comments read out loud, or provide written comments to the Board Chair.

To attend via phone, you will be provided meeting call-in information to listen to the meeting; and when the item you have indicated that you want to speak on is before the Board, your line will be taken off mute and you will be given an opportunity to speak.
