What is Neighborhood Registration?

Registering your neighborhood with the City of Mesa is a helpful step toward getting more involved in decisions affecting your neighborhood and enhancing communication with City of Mesa. 

 

Benefits of registering your neighborhood 

Registered neighborhoods are typically associated with one or more contacts, promoting teamwork to accomplish shared objectives. As a Neighborhood Contact, you will:

• Stay informed about local developments near your neighborhood.
• Build a relationship with their Community Engagement Coordinator that helps voice concerns and find solutions effectively.
• Get the opportunity to participate in initiatives to enhance their neighborhood’s quality of life.
• Receive coaching and support from the Community Engagement Team to elevate neighborhood meetings, address neighborhood issues, and pursue projects to improve your neighborhood.

By registering your neighborhood or becoming the point of contact, you can strengthen that sense of community by ensuring its interests are represented in municipal decision-making processes.

 

How to check if your neighborhood is registered 

Locate your neighborhood using the City of Mesa Registered Neighborhoods and HOAs Map. We prepared a video and a step-by-step tutorial to help you.

Tip: If your neighborhood is not on the map yet, you can register it. If your neighborhood is already registered, you can sign up as a point of contact for your neighborhood. 
 

How to register your neighborhood  

Step 1: Before starting the online registration form, please prepare the following: 

• Confirmation that you checked the Registered Neighborhoods and HOAs map (watch a helpful video for tips on how to do it). 
• North, East, South, and West main roads you would like to use as boundaries for your neighborhood. 
• A working email address

Step 2: Fill out the Neighborhood Registration Form

Step 3: The Community Engagement Team will contact you within 48 hours of submitting the form to continue with the process.
