The City of Mesa is filled with buildings and other features, such as neon signs, that represent its history. Sadly, as the city expands these features are being lost or at least threatened due to age, vacancy or development. They help to create a unique sense of place for the city and we need to protect and revitalize our history before it is lost forever. We don’t know where we are going if we don’t know where we’ve come from. Our past and history speak to who we are, and it is worth preserving.
