The Neighbors Helping Neighbors Program is a volunteer driven program in which Mesa residents can apply or be nominated if they are struggling to keep their yards clean, safe and code compliant due to a physical or financial limitations. Services provided includes basics cleanup of the yard, exterior painting, trash removal, sidewalk/alley clean up, etc. All work is completed by community volunteers and must be appropriate for volunteers to assist with. PLEASE NOTE - Tree and cactus removal is not included in the cleanup process.

Eligibility

City of Mesa residents who own their home.
Applicant with a financial and/or physical limitation(s) that prevents them from completing the work.

How to Apply

If the application meets the eligibility requirements, we will contact the applicant to get more information and arrange a site visit to determine the scope of work.

Before work begins, the property owner needs to sign a private property release of liability. You, or a representative you select, will communicate with volunteers and will be on-site during the project day.
